Business Incubators

Small business incubators are a popular tool for economic and business development. Incubators provide businesses with sheltered environments during their early stages of development by offering:

• physical space in flexible units
  
• leases at affordable prices and favorable terms
  
• equipment and services on a share-cost basis
  
• access to management and/or financial assistance

Incubators may be limited to start-up firms, or they may include a mix of new and growing businesses. Tenants may belong to one industry group or different types of businesses, including research & development, assembly and light manufacturing, or service. Typically, support services are available on an as-needed basis.
